G. Sudhakaran (LDF) won in Ambalappuzha Constituency by defeating M. Liju (UDF) for 16580 votes lead. BJP candidate got 2668 votes only. S. H. Alhadhi (SDPI) had 1852 votes andOmanakuttan (BSP) had 672 votes.
