
On 11 June 2016 at 12:30 AM (IST), France and Romania compete in inaugural match of 2016 UEFA European Championship. The second match of the tournament is between Albania and Switzerland, the match will be on 11 June 2016 at 06:30 PM (Indian Standard Time). Wales and Slovakia compete on 11 June 2016 at 09:30 PM (IST), it is the third match of UEFA Euro 2016. England and Russia are plays in Group B, they compete on 12 June 2016 at 12:30 AM (IST), it is the fourth match of the championship and second match of Group B. The fifth match of UEFA Euro 2016 is between Turkey and Croatia, this match is scheduled to play on 12 June 2016 at 06:30 PM (Indian Standard Time).
There are six groups for 24 teams. In UEFA Euro 2016, Each teams of the group play one match against other teams in the same group. Each team of the UEFA Euro 2016 gets one point for draw matches and 3 points for 1 winning.
The final match of the tournament will be on 11 July 2016 at 012:30 AM (IST). UEFA Euro 2016 round of 16 matches is scheduled between 25 June 2016 and 27 June 2016 (IST). Quarter-finals matches of UEFA Euro 2016 is scheduled between 1 July 2016 and 4 July 2016 (Indian Time). Sony Six bought the rights for UEFA Euro 2016 and will broadcast all 51 games live in Indian, Pakistan and neighbor countries (South Asia).
Germany is the most successful team in UEFA European Championship, they have won UEFA European Championship three times (19721, 19801, 1996). Spain was the winner in 1964, 2008 and 2012. France won Euro cup two times in 1984 and 2000. Soviet Union (1960), Italy (1968), Czech Republic (1976), Netherlands (1988), Denmark (1992) and Greece (2004) also won Euro cup one times.
On 1 July 2012, Spain (3rd title) won 2012 UEFA Euro by defeating Italy for 4 goals lead (score 4-0) at Olympic Stadium, Kiev. Portugal and Spain played in first semi-final match of UEFA Euro 2012 and Spain won in penalty shoot out for two goals lead (score 2–4) at Donbass Arena, Donetsk. The second semi final match of UEFA Euro 2012 was against Germany and Italy, Italy defeated Germany for 1 goals lead (score 1–2 ) at National Stadium, Warsaw.
Spain won 2008 UEFA Euro by defeating Germany for 1 goal lead (score 0-1). Germany won in semi-final of 2008 UEFA Euro against Turkey for 1 goal lead (score 3-2) at St. Jakob-Park, Basel. On 26 June 2008, Russia and Spain played second semi-final of 2008 UEFA Euro at Ernst-Happel-Stadion, Vienna, Spain won for 3 goals lead (score 0-3).
On 4 July 2004, Greece won in UEFA Euro 2004 for 1 goal lead (score 0–1) against Portugal at Estádio da Luz, Lisbon. In this championship, Portugal won in first semi-final against Netherlands for 1 goal lead at Estádio José Alvalade, Lisbon. Greece won in second semi final match of UEFA Euro 2004 against Czech Republic at Estádio do Dragão, Porto.
France won in UEFA Euro 2000 for 1 goal lead (score 2–1) by defeating Italy. France played semi final match against Portugal at King Baudouin Stadium, Brussels and France won for 1 goal lead. On 29 June 2000, Italy played second semi final match against Netherlands and Italy won for 2 goal lead (score 3–1) in Penalty shoot-out.
